The first charges for 2012 have been approved by Crown today against two more suspected rioters. So far, Crown Counsel has approved a total of 77 charges against 30 rioters.
Facing charges are:

21 year old Richmond resident

Approved charges:
- participating in a riot
- break and enter
To date, the Integrated Riot Investigation Team has recommended to Crown 215 charges against 80 rioters.
“As we enter into 2012, the Team has only one resolution,” says Inspector Les Yeo, officer in charge of the investigation, “and that is to continue to bring rioters to justice for their part on June 15th.”
