A high-risk sex offender wanted Canada-wide is back in custody.
Forty-four-year-old Darren Wheatley was the subject of a release by the VPD on March 27th. He was unlawfully at large after he failed to return to his halfway house contrary to his court-imposed release conditions.
Wheatley was arrested earlier today by the Kelowna RCMP.
