Two Grinches have made off with a woman’s Christmas gifts following a morning robbery.

Around 10 a.m. yesterday, a 47-year-old woman got off a bus at Commercial Drive and Adanac Street and headed home with a small cart full of wrapped Christmas gifts. As she made her way east on Adanac Street, she was attacked from behind by two young women, punched in the face and knocked to the ground. The victim, dazed and disoriented, stumbled to her feet and realized that the two thieves had made off with her gifts.

The woman was treated in hospital for a minor abrasion to her chin.

Police are looking for the two young women, who were described as being 5’6″ tall, with heavy builds and dark hair.

As Dr. Seuss might have said…

It appears that the girls hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season!

Now, please don’t ask why. No one quite knows the reason.

It could be that the girls weren’t thinking quite right.

It could be, perhaps, that their shoes were too tight.

But I think that the most likely reason of all
May have been that their hearts were two sizes too small.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call the Vancouver Police at (604) 717-3321.
