Type of vehicle believed to be involved in fatal hit-and-run
Police have now identified the woman who was killed in a hit-and-run collision near Main and Cordova Street on December 10th.
Officers have spoken to the family of the 73-year-old grandmother who was fatally struck as she crossed the street just a few blocks from her home.
Investigators continue to make progress in identifying the driver involved in the hit-and-run, and believe the collision involved a dark grey-coloured 2009 to 2011 four-door Honda Civic. The vehicle is believed to have sustained damage to its hood and front end, and investigators are asking for public assistance in identifying any vehicle that matches this description, including any similar vehicles that may have been hidden, or moved indoors to avoid detection.
