Vancouver Police are investigating a fatal collision involving a motorcyclist.

Shortly before 11 a.m., police responded to a collision involving a car and a motorcycle at North Nanaimo Street and Dundas. The 32-year-old motorcyclist was attended to by paramedics at the scene, but unfortunately died as a result of his injuries.

It is early in the investigation, but it appears that the motorcycle was travelling south on North Nanaimo Street from Oxford when the collision occurred. The driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.

Drivers can expect traffic delays on Nanaimo Street between East Hastings and McGill Street as police conduct their investigation.
