Police are asking for witnesses to a fatal parking lot collision last week to come forward.
Around 3:30 p.m. on April 27th, police responded to a collision involving a pedestrian in the parking lot of the Real Canadian Superstore at 350 South East Marine Drive. A pickup truck entered the lot off of Prince Edward Street and hit a 60-year-old woman. She was taken to hospital with a serious head injury, but died in the days following the collision.
The driver remained at the scene and is continuing to cooperate with the police investigation, but investigators are hoping additional witnesses will come forward.
