The VPD are currently investigating a fatal collision near the intersection of Kingsway Avenue and Broadway.
The collision between a pedestrian and a garbage truck happened shortly before 9:00 this morning. The pedestrian was unfortunately pronounced deceased at the scene.
There will be significant traffic disruptions as investigators deal with the incident and drivers are asked to avoid the area.
