Forensic experts and the VPD Major Crime Section continue to examine the scene of the city’s first murder of the year after a man was found dead inside a Vancouver apartment building.
Police were called to 2425 Granville Street near West Broadway shortly before 11:00 p.m. last night after the body of a man was discovered.
While still early in the investigation, and the exact motive for the shooting remains unknown, the attack is believed to be targeted.
The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Christopher Denis Kwik. He was not a resident of the apartment.
