Shortly before 1 p.m., police were called to the 2100 block of Stanley Park Drive, near the lighthouse, after a woman in her 40s was found deceased in a wooded area. The incident does not appear suspicious at this time.
The VPD Forensics Unit has been called to the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
