One man remains in hospital as VPD investigators continue gathering evidence and information to determine who is responsible for a shooting in East Vancouver last night.
At about 11:30 pm, a 27-year-old man was shot near East 3rd Avenue and Templeton Street. He was found shortly after at Commercial Drive and East 1st Avenue in the driver’s seat of his vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was rushed to hospital in serious condition, but he is expected to survive.
The exact motive for the shooting has not yet been determined, but the evidence gathered at this time would indicate the shooting was targeted.
No arrests have been made and officers continue to process both crime scenes.
