The Vancouver Police Commercial Vehicle Unit, along with other municipal police, RCMP, and the Province’s Commercial Vehicle Safety Enforcement (CVSE), continue to work together as part of ongoing efforts to improve road safety.

The VPD has a dedicated Commercial Vehicle Unit that conducts daily inspections of trucks and trailers travelling through the city to help reduce collisions and make our roads safer. Collaborative inspections with the CVSE and other police agencies occur regularly and throughout the Lower Mainland – today, police and CVSE inspectors were at multiple locations in Vancouver and will be out in force again tomorrow.
