Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing elderly man.

Ninety-two-year-old Shou Peng Chen left his home near Kingsway Avenue and Earles Street around noon on Tuesday, October 4th, and has not yet returned. Mr. Chen is mobile, but has a history of getting lost.

Mr. Chen is Asian, 5’5″ tall, weighs 110 lbs., has short, grey hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a dark brown jacket, blue jeans, black runners, and carrying a black wooden cane.  Mr. Chen only speaks Cantonese and is known to frequent Chinatown and Richmond.

A search of the area around his home, along with checks of local hospitals, cab companies, transit, and other police agencies, have failed to turn up any sign of him.

Anyone who sees Shou Chen is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until officers arrive.
