Shortly after 4 pm, on January 18th, police were called to a home in the area of Commercial Drive and Kitchener Street after receiving a report of the death of a 16-month-old boy.
While the BC Coroners Service works to determine the cause of death, detectives from the VPD’s Major Crime Section continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the child’s death.
In order to help maintain the integrity of the investigation, no additional updates will be provided.
