The May long weekend marks the beginning of boating season, and Vancouver Police are again partnering with boating safety advocates to promote safety on the water.
On May 20th, the VPD Marine Unit will officially launch Safe Boating Awareness Week, a national campaign that runs through May 26th.
The VPD’s Marine Unit is raising awareness about the risks on the water, and helping to ensure thousands of boaters, sailors, and paddlers in Vancouver are prepared to enjoy themselves safely.
