The Vancouver Police Department is releasing its 2016 Annual Report, highlighting some of our initiatives and engagement with the diverse community that we serve.

“In this report, we are taking time to highlight just some of the community-focused initiatives that helped us serve our diverse communities in 2016,” says Chief Constable Adam Palmer. “We will continue with this focus in 2017 and beyond, and work to foster relationships, understanding, and trust with the citizens of Vancouver. This work will help us make Vancouver the safest major city in Canada.”

For the 12th consecutive year, the Department has also finished the year within budget.
