Early Morning Fight On Granville Street Claims A Life

Vancouver Police Homicide investigators are looking for witnesses to an early morning Granville Street fight that has claimed a life.

Just before 2:30 a.m. a fight broke out inside the Cabanna club at 1159 Granville Street, and then spilled onto the street.

Twenty-three year old Kalwinder Thind, who was working at the club, stepped in to break up the fight. Unfortunately, Mr. Thind was injured and died in hospital.

Several parties have been arrested and Homicide investigators are currently trying to piece the evidence together.

There is no further information to release at this time as the investigation is on-going.
