A suspected shoplifter is being treated in hospital for injuries he sustained in a fall while allegedly fleeing from security officers this morning at the Real Canadian Superstore, located at 350 S.E. Marine Drive.
Shortly before 11 a.m., witnesses reported seeing a man fall approximately 30 feet from a roof top. The man is now in hospital undergoing treatment for a possible leg injury. The extent of any other injuries is not known.
Vancouver Police were called shortly after the incident and are now investigating.
