Special Olympics BC Press Release
The 2013 Law Enforcement Torch Run is underway in the Lower Mainland, beginning today and finishing up on June 7th.
Law enforcement personnel across the province will be taking part in this fundraiser in support of Special Olympics.
The community is invited down to the Granville Kilometre at 10:30 a.m. on June 5th to run and/or cheer on the runners as they move from Georgia to Drake on Granville Street.
The runners will make their way to Vancouver Police headquarters at 2120 Cambie Street at noon, where many of the Special Olympics athletes will be on hand for a cheque presentation.
