Police are investigating a West Side shooting that has left one man dead.
Around 10:30 p.m., police were called to the 500 block of West 27th Avenue after receiving multiple calls of shots being fired. When officers arrived, they found a silver vehicle on the sidewalk, and the driver had been shot. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
He is known to the police and the shooting appears targeted.
Detectives from the Vancouver Police Major Crime Section were called to the scene and will likely remain in the area for the remainder of the day.
