Vancouver’s First Fatal Collision of 2017

A 39-year-old Vancouver man involved in a collision yesterday morning has died from his injuries.

Just after 7 a.m. Wednesday, a motorcycle was travelling southbound on MacDonald at West Broadway when it collided with a blue Audi making a left turn westbound onto Broadway.

The motorcycle driver was rushed to hospital and died later that day from his injuries. The two occupants of the Audi were not physically injured.

The VPD Collision Investigation Unit is working to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. Anyone who witnessed the collision who has not yet spoken with police is asked to contact officers at 604-717-3012.
