Marine Unit and Emergency Response Team Hit the Water to Keep Mariners Safe

The Vancouver Police Department’s Marine Unit and Emergency Response Team will be hitting the waterways around Vancouver to maintain their operational readiness in marine environments.

Starting Wednesday, May 3rd, through Saturday, May 6th, boaters can expect to see our officers in the Burrard Inlet conducting training exercises.

Since 1911, the VPD’s Marine Unit has been patrolling our waterways and securing Vancouver’s almost 100 miles of shoreline.
