Vancouver Police Search for Good Samaritan, Who Intervened After a Male Exposed Himself and Threatened a Woman

Vancouver Police have made an arrest following an indecent act in Marpole, and are asking a Good Samaritan to come forward.

On February 21, just before 7:30 p.m., a man allegedly exposed himself and threatened a woman walking near the area of Granville Street and West 71 Avenue. A Good Samaritan intervened, allowing the woman to leave unharmed.

“We are thankful that the man in this case intervened and we are now asking him to come forward, as his information is believed to be important to the investigation,” says Sergeant Jason Robillard, VPD.

A 40-year-old Vancouver man has been arrested for an indecent act and threatening. Charges are pending and the investigation remains on-going.
