VPD searching for sex offender wanted Canada-wide

Update: August 2, 2019

Vancouver Police are asking for public assistance to locate Dale Rolland Alexander, 47, a high-risk sex offender who failed to return to his halfway house today.

Alexander is now unlawfully at large and wanted Canada-wide for breaching his long-term supervision order.

Alexander is a two-time federal offender who completed a jail sentence for sexual assault, kidnapping, and uttering threats. On his release from jail, he was issued a long-term supervision order that requires him to live at a halfway house.

He was last seen the morning of August 1, and his whereabouts are unknown.

Alexander is Metis, about 5’10”, and 175 pounds, with a shaved head, blue eyes, and glasses. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black track pants, grey runners, and a gray backpack.

Anyone who sees Alexander, or has information about his whereabouts, should call 9-1-1 immediately.
