Vancouver Police arrested high-risk offender James Moyah yesterday on the Downtown Eastside, after an alert witness spotted him and called 9-1-1.
Moyah, 45, was wanted Canada-wide for breach of statutory release and was subject of a VPD public appeal earlier this week. The witness recognized Moyah from seeing his picture in the news, and called police shortly before noon yesterday.
Moyah is now back in custody. The VPD thanks media and the public for their assistance in locating Moyah.
