Vancouver Police investigate the city’s ninth homicide

Update: July 31, 2020 

Vancouver Police are investigating the death of a 41-year-old Vancouver man after he was stabbed yesterday evening in Vancouver’s West End.

Officers responded to a 9-1-1 call at about 8:30 p.m. reporting that a man had been stabbed near Thurlow and Comox streets. The man was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.

No arrests have been made and the identity of the suspect is not known at this time. VPD investigators believe this homicide was targeted and that there is no risk to the public.

This is Vancouver’s ninth homicide of 2020.
